I got one with minor flaw pit at its surface. I think it might caused during the ceramic forming. No harm on the function and good to display.
Frankly I like its design. The use of bamboo as lit is quite smart. It works similar like wood cork - fits well. But they small, maybe sauce jar are sized to be small, I just don't know.
